That’s right, we’ve created a new holiday to commemorate Saturday’s performances! First, Dave Malinsky directs Bobby Joe Smith, Jessie Gurd, Derek Long, Lilli Stein, and Noah Mease in our adaptation of Cecil B. DeMille’s The Buccaneer, the rollicking tale of a pirate fighting for America and the woman he loves in the War of 1812. And then stay tuned for the debut of Noah Mease’s Victorian-horror-romance-mystery Penny Dreadful in “The Terror of London”, starring Heather Ward, Lilli Stein, Stefan Claypool, Bill Noble, and Derek Long. And we’ll have a surprise or two in store for you as well! You won’t want to miss this one, so be sure to tune in Saturday night at 7:oo PM eastern time!

Okay, perhaps we’re not famous, but we are featured in the Winter 2008 issue of Middlebury Magazine. Their web version has apparently not yet updated to the current issue, but if all our devoted fans keep checking, I’m sure you’ll see yours truly grinning at you like an idiot (I haven’t seen it yet, so I can’t actually guarantee that). Pick up your copy in your parents’ mailbox or your local administrative office today!
On an as-yet undetermined Saturday in February, the Middlebury Radio Theater of Thrills and Suspense will begin broadcasting its exciting Season 3.5. Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be presenting a wide variety of original pieces, including new installments of Nazi Hunters, the exciting new series New Tales From Kafka City, and the much-anticipated Time Presidents. We’ll also be performing thrilling adaptations, such as The Third Man, Moonraker, and possibly North By Northwest.
For those of you interested in impacting our broadcast schedule this spring, please vote in our new poll asking which H.P. Lovecraft story you’d like to hear adapted for radio. The options include At the Mountains of Madness, The Call of Cthulhu, The Dunwich Horror, and Herbert West - Reanimator.
We at the Middlebury Radio Theater are committed to making Season 3.5 our best yet. For now, you can enjoy our podcast, but we’ll be back on the air soon, so stay tuned!
